RALLY NEWS:
2009 Spring Rally IS ON! And planned
for May 7-17 2009. Due to all the publicity and anti-biker
sentiment in the media we suspect that the rally for 2009
will be an even stronger rally. Currently it is being proposed
that if we combine the Memorial Weekend Rally with this rally
(a.k.a. Harley week) during these dates it will greatly improve
the size of the rally and the variety of happenings avery
motorcyclist can enjoy. Combining the rallies benefits the
Memorial Weekend riders so much more with the added duration
of the rally and the quantity of events they can partake in
all over the Grand Strand. Other suggestions is to move the
rally to the last week in April. Check back here for future
updates on the rally.

Jamin' Leather is seeking STREET PERFORMERS, motorcycle services
dealerships and bike builders to display at their new location
in Surfside Beach, located in the heart of the Bike Week activity.
Self contained street performers like solo instrument players,
magicians, exhibitionists, animal tricks, escape artists,
or even costumed stilt walkers are welcome to perform in the
parking lot for tips. If stationary equipment is necessary,
check for space availability. Bike builders, services and
dealerships will require a vending fee. Call 843-839-5255
and ask for Jamie or Lisa.
In case you were unaware, Jamin' Leather' is now located at 802
Hwy 17 Bus. S. in Surfside Beach SC, Corner of 8th Ave S,
next to Wild Water and Wheels and Hudson Flea Market in the
all NEW Jamin' Town plaza a whopping 35,000 square feet building
3x larger than the location on 501.
Visit the all NEW JailHouse Cafe, serving great Grub, JailHouse
style, made by our Jail bait inmate staff. Featuring breakfast
sandwiches, coffee, hotdog's, burgers, wraps, sandwiches,
beer, draft, wine, snacks and ice cream. And while your knocking
down a cold one, give a big Howdy to Herbie the JailHouse
Cafe's permanent animated resident.
Visit the all new gift shop at
Jamin' Town. Featuring a large assortment of hard to find
collectable's, fashions, club wear, jewelry, t-shirts, Betty
Boop, Native American items, joke items, and creepy critters
(nothing like a real tarantula paperweight).

We always have a great time at Jamin Leather during the rallies.
It's just one of the many Grand Strand hot spots during your
visit in Myrtle Beach. In Spring 2007 we presented The American
Red Cross with a check for $9,557 from our biannual Leather
Charity Auction. In the fall Jamin' Leather raised $7,896
for the ARC. The combined 2007 total of $17,453. We would
like to thank everyone who came out and participated.

CHARITY
LEATHER AUCTION Every rally Jamin' Leather cleans
out our warehouse in support of the American
Red Cross. We always end up having a great time doing
it with all it's polite insults and comedy. Over the past
several years we've auctioned off tens of thousands of dollars
of leather goods as well as dates with national and area celebrities,
to Jamie's Hairy Ass (a 4' long donkey with real hair).
With the customers help who came out to
bid, we have been able to raise over $10,000 per year for
the American Red Cross. This auction is generally scheduled
the Wednesday through Saturday around 2:30 pm to 6 pm of each
bike week, fall and spring. Check event guide for exact times
and dates. Please come out and support this worthy cause.

The fall
T-Shirt contests was just another ongoing great event at
Jamin Leather, along with several other locations around the
beach. It's always entertaining to hear their silly answers
to our silly questions and observe their special, or not so,
hidden talents. Check out the current events listing to join

E-MAIL TO MYRTLEBEACHRALLIES.COM Oh my gosh, I just stumbled across
your website and can't believe it! How can you DO all these
things??? You have all these terrible events and festivities,
centered around body parts and booze. That is just TERRIBLE!!!
I would NEVER come to any of your activities!!!! I can't believe
you actually have people coming to this stuff! What kind of
impression is that giving off? What kind of man is a woman
going to attract if she would participate in these kinds of
activities, and vice/versa? I just can't believe it! And do
you realize how unhealthy alcohol is? It's a toxic chemical
that affects every hormone in your body, has been linked to
cancer, and poisons cells! Plus, it is a mind-altering drug!
It is just not good to drink this stuff at all, not even in
moderation! And here you are, all grown adults, promoting
this stuff! That is terrible! I hope you will read what I
have written regarding why it is not healthy or wholesome
to consume alcohol, and take it to heart. I will check back
on your website in the future to see if you have changed and
are no longer promoting that stuff or holding these activities.
I certainly hope you will change. There must be something
else you can do. You are better than that!
